Abel has been involved on numerous fronts in and around Africa helping to build schools and churches. In September 2010 he was invited to serve on the board of the Oxford Centre for Development Research in the United Kingdom, which extended his work into more African countries. The OCDR is committed to helping developing nations with economically sustainable projects that improve the quality of life in communities affected by famine and natural disaster.
He is a regular visitor to Oxford Bible Church in Oxford, where he has had the opportunity to share the vision of his work in South Africa. Oxford Bible Church supports the work Abel does across Africa.
Abel was instrumental in establishing a home for disadvantaged children in the City of Johannesburg, and assists orphanages in Mozambique and Malawi. His travels and networks give him the reach to lead the Songa Mbele Foundation as a catalyst for the transformation South Africa urgently needs.
A deeply committed family man, a doting father and grandfather, Abel carries a mantle of love and compassion to the poor and needy around the world, an ambassador to those living with poverty, crime and economic hardship.
As a missionary, church planter, radio and television speaker to different faith communions, author and spiritual mentor, Abel has inspired thousands through his practical presentation of Biblical truth for over fifty years.

Songa Mbele Foundation
Abel leads the Songa Mbele Foundation, which builds schools and churches, supports a children's home in Johannesburg and assists orphanages in Mozambique and Malawi.
Kingdom Global Ministries
The mission of the Church is to disciple believers into the Kingdom of God.
Due to man-made constitutions and traditions, the Church has often functioned as an embassy of the Kingdom only, without helping sincere seekers enter God's Kingdom. Kingdom Global Ministries exists to help churches with Biblically based teaching that adds value to the understanding of life in the Kingdom.
KGM is committed to building solid leadership models for the end times within the Body of Christ, to embrace a Kingdom lifestyle above and beyond religious Christianity. It is open to all denominations, nationally and internationally.
